Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a seasoned Project Controls Specialist onsite with our client teams to drive scheduling, cost control, risk management, and performance reporting on large capital programs in the energy and infrastructure sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, OR 6 years of equivalent work experience in addition to the minimum experience requirement in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of capital project scheduling experience on process industry projects with project values of $500 million or greater.
• High proficiency with Primavera P6 and demonstrated ability to develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules.
• Experience performing project controls analysis across schedule, cost, progress, change, risk, and reporting disciplines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced project environment.
• Ability to perform field walkdown observations on foot across moderate to rough terrain and lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, plans, and WBS structures.
• Apply scheduling and cost control techniques throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze schedule variances and assess impacts on milestones and outcomes.
• Perform schedule analytics to evaluate critical paths and contractor performance trends.
• Collaborate in an integrated project environment with clients, EPCs, OEMs, and contractors.
• Promote safety and ensure adherence to site rules.
• Support project management standards in cost, schedule, scope, risk, and reporting.
