Job summary

The Minnesota Department of Corrections is seeking a Physical Plant Project Consultant to serve as the primary infrastructure liaison during the phased closure and decommissioning of the Minnesota Correctional Facility Stillwater.

This temporary unclassified role evaluates physical plant concerns, manages asset preservation, reviews large-scale blueprints, and tracks capital expenditures to ensure safety and facility preservation for staff and incarcerated persons.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years' experience managing physical plant operations, facilities management, or construction management including developing and managing budgets and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• This position evaluates physical plant concerns, manages asset preservation, reviews large-scale technical blueprints, and tracks capital project expenditures to ensure the safety, health and comfort of staff and incarcerated persons, and the physical structure is preserved.
