Job summary

COWI seeks a Project Director, Infrastructure (East) to lead complex public and private infrastructure programs across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Central United States. You will supervise design and construction across civil and structural elements, working with diverse teams to ensure scope, schedule, budget, and quality adherence.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 20+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure.
• At least 10 years in senior project management roles.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in NY, DC, VA, or MD.
• Experience with Design & Build, public clients, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary projects for public and private clients, including Design-Bid-Build, Design & Build, P3, and similar methods.
• Oversee all phases from conceptual design through construction support for civil/structural elements.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and quality across projects exceeding $100M in value.
• Contract management, fee negotiations, and risk mitigation with client project managers.
• Mentor and guide junior managers and staff to promote delivery excellence.
