Job summary

COWI is seeking a Project Director, Infrastructure (East) to lead and deliver complex transportation and civil infrastructure projects across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Central U.S. The role requires directing multidisciplinary teams, managing budgets, quality and schedules, and collaborating with public agencies and clients.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience overseeing large infrastructure programs.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, geotechnical and architectural disciplines.
• Strong written and oral communication to engage stakeholders and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects for public and private clients (Design-Bid-Build, Design & Build, P3).
• Oversee phases from conceptual design through construction support for civil/structural elements.
• Build relationships with public agencies, contractors and community groups.
• Support business development with strategy, proposals, interviews, and client engagement for major programs.
• Manage teams of 5–25+ staff and subcontractors on projects exceeding $100M.
