Job summary

Webber, LLC in The Woodlands, TX, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing, contracts, and supplier relations for heavy civil projects.

You will report to the Procurement Manager, participate in buyout meetings, negotiate terms, and travel about 10% regionally to support project execution and optimization of procurement strategies.

Experience with contracting, cost control, and vendor evaluation preferred; bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 2 years of field engineering or procurement experience.
• 10% regional travel required.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Procurement Manager.
• Manage purchasing procedures and policy implementation.
• Participate in Buyout Meetings to prioritize purchases and plan contracts.
• Negotiate and prepare contracts, purchase orders, consultant agreements & amendments.
• Perform analysis and evaluation of vendor quotations and coordinate contract execution.
• Analyze market changes and adjust procurement strategies.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.
