Infrastructure Operations Lead — Cloud Modernization

Job summary

Digitailor seeks a senior leader to head infrastructure operations, overseeing secure, reliable cloud and hybrid platform services with ownership of service health, incident leadership, and modernization across Azure, VMware, Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP.

You will manage KPIs, SLAs, capacity, risk, patching, vulnerability remediation, backup, and recovery readiness; lead a distributed team, govern vendor relationships, and drive FinOps practices to optimize cloud costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure, cloud, or platform operations, including leadership of complex enterprise services.
• 5+ years of people-management experience
• Experience managing external vendors, service providers, contracts, or statements of work
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure virtual machines, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Hyper-V, networking fundamentals, Azure Backup, Veeam, monitoring, and certificate lifecycle management
• Experience leading incident and problem management, change governance, and service improvement in a 24x7 enterprise environment

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery and continuous improvement of infrastructure operations across Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, VMware, Hyper-V, backup, monitoring.
• Define and manage service health, KPIs, SLAs, capacity, lifecycle risk, patching, vulnerability remediation, backup assurance, and recovery readiness.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for major incidents and complex infrastructure issues; coordinate response and root cause analysis.
• Maintain service ownership, operating procedures, support models, asset/configuration information, escalation paths, and documentation.
• Partner with cybersecurity, networking, architecture, application, and service management teams to resolve cross-functional risks.
