Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking a Technical Lead for Detroit, MI to manage and optimize datacenter network infrastructure. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, incident handling, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability.

You'll design, deploy, and upgrade fabric networks with emphasis on automation and scalable architectures. Responsibilities include on-call participation, root cause analysis, and documentation of network topology.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of datacenter networking fundamentals.
• Experience with routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, ECMP.
• Familiar with Spine-Leaf architectures, VXLAN EVPN, and fabric networking.
• Proficiency with network devices: Cisco Nexus, Arista EOS, Juniper MX/QFX.
• Understand Ethernet, TCP/IP, ARP, DNS, DHCP.
• High availability design and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Work on Tier-2 and Tier-3 incidents and service requests for datacenter network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues affecting production environment.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive steps.
• Participate in on-call rotation and escalation support.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity.
• Participate in Design and deployment of datacenter network solutions.
• Implement network expansion projects and infrastructure upgrades.
• Support network migrations, refreshes, and capacity planning initiatives.
• Develop and maintain network architecture documentation and topology diagrams.
• Participate in infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
• Participate in automation and standardization process.
