Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Detroit, MI is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to manage datacenter network infrastructure, resolve Tier-2/3 incidents, and support production uptime. This role involves root cause analysis, on-call rotations, capacity planning, and participation in design and deployment of datacenter solutions with on-site teams and cross-functional partners.

Experience with Cisco Nexus, Arista EOS, and Juniper MX/QFX is preferred to support uptime, security, and performance

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Ethernet, TCP/IP, ARP, DNS, DHCP.
• Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, ECMP.
• Datacenter technologies: Spine-Leaf, VXLAN EVPN, Fabric Networking, Overlay/Underlay, HA.
• Vendor platforms: Cisco Nexus, Arista EOS, Juniper MX/QFX.

Responsibilities

• Work on Tier-2 and Tier-3 incidents and service requests for datacenter network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues affecting production environment.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive steps.
• Participate in on-call rotation and escalation support.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity.
• Participate in design and deployment of datacenter network solutions.
• Support network migrations, refreshes, and capacity planning initiatives.
• Develop and maintain network architecture documentation and topology diagrams.

Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000 a year
