Job summary

CPL is seeking an Engineering Market Sector Principal to provide strategic and technical leadership within the Infrastructure Team for public works projects across transportation, water, and wastewater sectors. You will guide agile project delivery, manage resources and budgets, and foster client relationships while growing the practice in Charlotte and surrounding markets.

You will lead and develop teams, drive business development, and ensure high-quality design and construction administration

Qualifications

• BS or advanced degree in your discipline from an accredited institution.
• 12+ years of related work experience with 5+ years in a Project Manager role.
• Professional licensure in your discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee schedules, budgets, and concurrent design/construction projects.
• Lead client vision sessions and develop project scopes/objectives.
• Manage internal finances including billing and resource allocation.
• Recruit, develop, and retain CPL team members; mentor staff.
