Windcave Inc. seeks an US Infrastructure Manager to own operation, reliability and modernization of enterprise infrastructure platforms in the US region, reporting to the Group CEO in NYC.

The role ensures 24/7 availability of software and server infrastructure on private cloud and on‑prem servers, guiding IT strategy, cybersecurity, governance and digital transformation as growth expands.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT management experience in high uptime, growth environments.
• IT strategic planning, budgeting, and personnel management experience.
• Experience with ERP, systems architecture, telecoms, database administration, security and compliance.

• Oversee networks and computer systems to ensure 100% availability and maximum performance.
• Plan and implement new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and staff.
• Analyze the costs, value and risks of infrastructure and implement solutions without compromising reliability, scalability, or security.

• Maintain capacity, performance and lifecycle plans for compute, storage, network, and connectivity across all sites, including US operations.

Job description

The US Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the operation, reliability, and modernization of enterprise infrastructure platforms of Windcave Inc.

Reporting to the Group CEO in NYC, the role is responsible for the 24*365 availability of software and server infrastructure that all the revenue generating, and support systems depend upon and for. The successful candidate will progressively assume broader ownership of enterprise technology, IT strategy, cybersecurity, infrastructure, governance, and digital transformation as US region becomes an autonomous part of the global operation.

The company runs its own server hardware for payments applications and its own private cloud, which means there is a deeper level of knowledge demanded of our infrastructure team, than where major cloud vender systems are used instead.

Role Scope:

• Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organisation to ensure 100% availability and maximum performance.
• Plan/Implement new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organisation
• Analyse the costs, value and risks of infrastructure and implement solutions without any adverse impact on system reliability, scalability, and security.
• Ensure cyber security is integrated into all aspects of the business;
• Ensure technology systems and platforms are selected to improve payment infrastructure uptime and reliability
• Own the architecture and technology standards.
• Network segmentation, identity and access, cryptographic key management, platform hardening and change control and approve material design changes
• Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans exist, are exercised at least annually, and demonstrably meet the agreed recovery time and recovery point objectives
• Maintain capacity, performance and lifecycle plans for compute, storage, network and connectivity across all sites, including the United States operations

Role Requisites

• 10+ years IT Management experience in a high uptime complex, and growth environment
• Extensive experience with IT strategic planning, budgeting, and personnel management
• Significant experience in all aspects of information technology planning, development and implementation, including but not limited to enterprise resource planning, systems architecture, telecommunications, database administration, Web, security and compliance
• Broad technical knowledge and skills, with the ability to demonstrate this thorough knowledge and understanding of current computing, telecommunications and emerging technologies
• Demonstrated experience and skill in negotiating with vendors, contractors, and others
• Payments/Fintech experience would be preferred, but not mandatory to the role.
