Job summary

Hunt Consolidated, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Manager to design, deliver, and operate the core technology backbone. You will lead a team of engineers, own data center and cloud integrations, and partner with Security and Facilities to ensure secure, reliable services.

You will manage capacity, budget, and vendor relationships while maintaining 24x7 operations and disaster readiness. This role requires strategic leadership and hands-on technical excellence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT infrastructure engineering and operations experience.
• 3+ years in team leadership or senior technical leadership.
• Enterprise Windows and Linux administration expertise.
• Experience with VMware vSphere, Nutanix AOS, or Hyper‑V.
• SAN/NAS storage and enterprise backup/recovery proficiency.
• Multi-site routing, switching, wireless, and SD‑WAN know‑how.
• Hybrid/cloud integration with Azure or AWS IaaS.
• Automation or IaC scripting (PowerShell, Python).
• Familiarity with ITIL incident, problem, change management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure engineers and sysadmins; prioritize work and develop the team.
• Own architecture, deployment, and lifecycle of core infra components.
• Oversee data center facilities, power, cooling, and cabling.
• Manage vendor contracts, carriers, and service providers.
• Partner with Security, Service Management, and Facilities to deliver reliable services.
• Define metrics and drive improvements in availability and performance.
