We're seeking an Infrastructure Hardware Systems Engineer to support the development, integration, testing, and deployment of critical infrastructure systems for U.S. Navy surface ships. What You'll Do:
- Support the design, integration, configuration, and validation of infrastructure hardware systems for naval applications.
- Develop and implement solutions to support secure, reliable, and scalable hardware infrastructure.
- Perform hardware testing, system verification, troubleshooting, and failure analysis in laboratory environments.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, rack layouts, wiring diagrams, schematics, parts lists, and technical documentation.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, engineering artifacts, and configuration records.
- Collaborate with systems, electrical, mechanical, software, and integration engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Participate in requirements analysis, system design reviews, integration testing, and verification activities.
- Support hardware deployments, upgrades, and sustainment activities.
- Work within agile teams to meet program objectives and customer commitments.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related technical fields with a Bachelor's degree; or 6+ months of experience with a Master's degree.
- 2+ years of experience supporting hardware integration, system testing, troubleshooting, or engineering development activities.
- 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, rack layouts, or technical documentation.
- 1+ years of experience supporting laboratory testing, troubleshooting, or validation of hardware systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.

- Experience with Siemens Capital Logic Designer or similar schematic development tools.

- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing engineering requirements.
- Strong technical communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Interest in continuous improvement, automation, and AI-enabled engineering solutions.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen.
- Overtime: May be required to support testing, integration, and deployment activities.
- Work Arrangement: Fully onsite or hybrid/flex schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

- Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Secret DoD security clearance.
