Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking an Advanced Systems Engineer to support development, verification, qualification, and integration of advanced undersea maritime systems. You will work with a multidisciplinary engineering team on test programs, validating requirements, and supporting lifecycle of complex electrical and optical systems.

Qualifications

• Experience developing, managing, decomposing, or verifying system requirements.
• Experience supporting system integration, qualification testing, validation, or product verification.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret DoD security clearance; background check may be required.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and support program objectives.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Product Development, Test Engineering, Integration Engineering, or related technical environments with a Bachelor's degree; or 3+ years of experience with a Master's degree.
• 3+ years of experience developing, managing, decomposing, or verifying system requirements.
• 3+ years of experience supporting system integration, qualification testing, validation, or product verification activities.
• 2+ years of experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams consisting of systems, electrical, software, mechanical, or manufacturing engineers.
• 2+ years of experience supporting technical documentation, engineering specifications, or test procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline.
