Job summary

Family Dollar seeks a senior governance professional to lead Vendor Governance, FinOps, Asset Management, and Contract Management within Infrastructure Engineering. This executive-level role provides independent oversight across 7,400+ stores and multiple data centers and cloud platforms, ensuring cost control, contract integrity, and asset lifecycle discipline.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT governance, vendor management, FinOps, or IT asset management within a large enterprise.
• Experience with multi-vendor IT delivery models.
• Retail sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the vendor governance framework for all infrastructure vendors and service providers.
• Lead vendor performance reviews and elevate gaps to VP/Directors.
• Maintain a vendor risk register and flag concentration risks.
• Own cost visibility dashboards and monthly spend reporting for the VP.
• Define and enforce cloud cost governance policies with engineering teams.
• Own end-to-end IT asset lifecycle governance and CMDB accuracy.
• Lead contract renewals, amendments, and renegotiations with Legal/Procurement.
• Produce governance dashboards for the VP with vendor health, cost posture, assets, and contracts.
