Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Manager of Vendor Governance, FinOps, Asset Management & Contract Management to centralize governance across Hybrid Cloud, Network, Automation and Retail/Edge environments. This role provides independent oversight, cost visibility, and governance intelligence for a multi‑domain infrastructure portfolio serving 7,400+ stores and data centers.

The role emphasizes independence from direct reports, governance of vendor performance, and collaboration with Legal, Procurement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance, or a related field.
8+ years in IT governance, vendor management, FinOps, or IT asset management.
3+ years in roles with contracts, vendor performance, or cost management.
Experience with multi-vendor/BPO delivery models.
Retail or distributed enterprise exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

Own the vendor governance framework for infrastructure technology vendors and service providers.
Lead vendor performance reviews (QBRs/MBRs) and escalate gaps to VP/directors.
Maintain a vendor risk register and flag concentration and end-of-life exposures.
Own FinOps across cloud and on-premises, with dashboards and spend reporting.
Define cost governance policies and monitor spend variances in real time.
Oversee asset lifecycle governance, CMDB accuracy, and license entitlements.
Manage contract renewals, SLAs, and centralized repositories.
Produce governance dashboards and executive briefings for leadership.
