Job summary

Google accounting team is seeking a highly capable professional to manage core accounting functions and end-to-end processes. You will advise on regulatory reporting, review and interpret financial and budget reports, and collaborate with global teams to improve efficiency and accuracy.

You will lead end-to-end accounting processes, reconcile balance sheets and P&L, and provide supplementary information for internal and external reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in accounting or related function, or 1 year with an advanced degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
• Experience with US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for technical infrastructure reporting, tracking machine deployments, depreciation, useful life, and fleet utilization.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly variance commentary, partnering with FP&A and operational teams to evaluate business drivers and performance trends.
• Design and run scenario models to support long-range planning, capital allocation, and executive-level decision-making.
• Oversee the suite of advanced modeling tools, managing feature roadmaps and bug fixes to ensure end-to-end data completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with FinEng and FP&A to align modeling assumptions, integrate data pipelines, and develop scalable, automated reporting solutions.
