Job summary

Xcimer Energy, headquartered in Denver, CO, seeks a Department Manager to lead the infrastructure design and support systems engineering organization. You will guide complex facility systems for laser, pulsed-power, and industrial operations and oversee design, integration, construction, and commissioning efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field.
• 8+ years in facility/infrastructure engineering.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA and building codes.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead design & technical execution for facility systems across all project phases.
• Mentor and grow engineers; conduct technical reviews and continuous improvement.
• Define department standards, workflows, and design best practices.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for build readiness and design transfer.
• Ensure safety, reliability, and maintainability of facility assets.
