Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Infrastructure Engineering and Operations Manager for a Pacific Northwest hybrid onsite role. You will lead a multi-discipline team across systems, networking, and ITSM, overseeing data center and colo operations, hosting, virtualization, storage, replication, AD, and network devices.

• 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing IT infrastructure teams.

• 3+ years of Azure operations experience.

• Familiarity with observability tools to improve reliability and MTTR.

A client in the PNW area is looking for an Infrastructure Engineering and Operations Manager to join their team. This position is a direct hire role that would be hybrid onsite. As an Infrastructure Engineering and Operations Manager you will be overseeing a team of System Admins, Network Engineers, ITSM Engineers - this team is a blend of IT Operations team and infrastructure engineering teams. We are looking for someone who is a strong leader and manager for a team but also has the technical expertise to manage a team of infrastructure engineers across this space: Your team will be working across data center with colo management, hosting services, virtualization, storage, replication, AD, Cisco, end point engineering, and Fortinet and cisco switches. Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience in a leadership role as an Infrastructure Engineering and Operations Manager, IT Manager, Infrastructure Engineering Manage, etc. with experience managing a team of network engineers/system engineers4+ years of understanding of infrastructure engineering practices: networking, compute, storage, virtualization, backup/recovery, end point engineering, branch services/support, data center management and connectivity: M365/Identity Management, Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco Switches, Azure/Cloud Operations, Data Center, VMware, Cohesity, etc.3+ years of experience with Azure OperationsExperience with observability and monitoring tools to reduce MTTR and improve reliability: experience understanding outages, production systems, incident management/response, understanding logging/reliability.ITIL/ITSM experience
