Accident Fund Insurance Company of America seeks an Infrastructure Engineer II to operate secure, highly available computing platforms, servers and networks. You will install, maintain, upgrade and improve the infrastructure while ensuring reliability and on‑call readiness.

Responsibilities include deploying and testing server OSs and networking, mentoring staff, planning growth, and coordinating with vendors. A bachelor’s degree in IT/CS and 5 years’ experience are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field required.
• 5 years’ IT experience in a multi-site environment; insurance industry preferred.
• Continuous learning and staying current with industry practices.

Responsabilidades

• Mentor and coach staff; lead minor technical projects and support incidents.
• Plan for replacement of obsolete resources and coordinate with vendors.
• Develop documentation to support software/hardware recommendations.
• Perform installation, maintenance and support of systems for moderately complex projects.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support as needed.
