Job summary

Emergent Holdings, Inc. seeks an Infrastructure Engineer II to oversee secure, highly available computing platforms, servers, and networks. You will install, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve the operating environment while ensuring reliability, performance and on-call support for growth.

You will deploy new technologies, design and test server OS and middleware, monitor environments, respond to incidents, and ensure security, backups and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 5 years’ IT experience in an multi-site environment; prior insurance industry experience preferred.
• Continuous learning as defined by company policy is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects or mentor junior staff.
• Install, configure, and maintain server OS and networks.
• Respond to incidents and participate in on-call rotations.
