Job summary

SBA Communications seeks an Infrastructure Engineer II to deploy, maintain, and secure on‑premises and collocated data centers. You will patch systems, remediate vulnerabilities, manage AD/Entra ID, and support Microsoft AVD/Intune for secure remote access, while coordinating disaster recovery across Azure and on‑prem environments.

A strong virtualization and storage background is required. Your role emphasizes cross‑team collaboration, incident resolution, and up‑to‑date documentation to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS, or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years’ infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience with vulnerability remediation and security patching.
• Strong OS knowledge (Windows, Linux) and data center ops.
• Familiarity with SAN/NAS, virtualization, and DR tooling.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support on‑premises and colocation data center infra.
• Assist in infrastructure design implementation for reliability.
• Execute security remediations and patching per SLAs.
• Support Active Directory, Entra ID, and hybrid identity.
• Manage MS AVD and Intune for secure endpoints.
• Support storage and virtualization solutions (Nutanix/VMware/Hyper‑V).
• Assist backup and disaster recovery testing across environments.
• Document configurations and maintain knowledge base.
