Job summary

Brickhouse Resources is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our client’s team in the United States. The role focuses on supporting and enhancing a distributed technology environment spanning cloud, on-premises, endpoints, networking, monitoring, and collaboration tools.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of infrastructure experience and hands-on expertise with Microsoft infrastructure (Azure, M365, AD/Entra ID, Windows Server), Meraki network gear, and endpoint management (Intune/MDM).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure/systems engineering experience in a production environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft infrastructure including Azure/Azure Cloud, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, and Windows Server.
• Cisco Meraki experience including administration and troubleshooting in a production network.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and networking fundamentals; able to troubleshoot connectivity and network issues independently.
• Hands-on experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting firewalls and switches; actual administration.
• Experience with Barracuda or comparable network/security platforms.
• Endpoint/device-management experience, ideally Intune/MDM, with infrastructure security, monitoring, patching, and vulnerability remediation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve infrastructure across cloud, on-premises, endpoint, networking, and collaboration environments.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, system deployments, lifecycle upgrades, site initiatives, standardization, and modernization efforts.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot technical incidents.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and efforts to improve resiliency.
• Support cybersecurity practices including least privilege, secure configuration, patching, vulnerability remediation, access controls, logging, and monitoring.
• Administer mobile device and endpoint management technologies.
• Install, configure, patch, migrate, administer, and decommission infrastructure components.
• Provide technical guidance to employees, site leadership, and other IT team members.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, diagrams, support materials, and knowledge-base content.
• Follow established change management, cybersecurity, compliance, and operational support procedures.
