Job summary

Legence is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain core enterprise infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. The role ensures high availability, security, and performance while collaborating with IT and business teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in enterprise infrastructure, strong networking, Windows Server, and cloud experience, plus Azure familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years experience in enterprise infrastructure roles covering networking, Windows systems, and/or cloud platforms.
• Experience with multi‑vendor firewalls, switches, wireless, IPv4, routing protocols, NAT, VPNs, VLANs, etc.
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support network infrastructure with strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts, routing, switching, VLANs, ACLs, and wireless technologies.
• Configure, manage, and optimize multi-vendor switches, wireless access points, routers, and firewalls.
• Administer and support Windows Server, Active Directory, and related identity services.
• Support cloud services (Azure preferred), including IaaS, PaaS, identity, automation, and monitoring capabilities.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues across network, server, cloud, and authentication platforms to minimize downtime.
