The role focuses on platform engineering, solution architecture, and user enablement, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable platforms aligned with business objectives. Some travel may be required for remote employees during meetings and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, cloud operations, or related role.
• Experience with cloud/hybrid infrastructure and troubleshooting production services across compute, network, identity, storage, telephony, and monitoring.
• Experience handling complex escalations in ITSM environments with incident documentation and RCA.
• Scripting/automation experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Go); reading APIs and using version control.
• IAM tools, SSO, and related technologies.
• Networking fundamentals, DNS, TCP/IP, access control, logs, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve cloud and hybrid infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, telephony, identity, databases, backups, and monitoring.
• Develop or maintain infrastructure as code and automation to reduce manual effort and enable safe changes.
• Own complex Tier 3 incidents from triage to resolution.
• Analyze service desk and infrastructure trends to identify recurring incidents and risks.
• Maintain runbooks, knowledge articles, diagrams, and change documentation; align with ITIL/ITSM practices.
• Ensure security through least-privilege, patching, vulnerability remediation, backups, and audit-ready change records.
• Collaborate with service desk, applications, infrastructure/security, and business teams to translate pain points into improvements.
