Job summary

Endurance IT Services is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer in Richmond to design, implement, and support modern IT infrastructure for a diverse client base. The role leads infrastructure projects across on-prem and cloud, providing expert engineering and consulting.

The position is a Direct Hire, located in a hybrid/remote setting with up to 50% local travel to client sites. You will work with AD, M365, Azure, virtualization, and security solutions to deliver robust infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience.
• Managed services/consulting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in AD, Microsoft 365, Azure, virtualization, networking, firewalls, and security frameworks.
• Experience with cloud migrations and technology modernization initiatives.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and migration projects involving servers, networking, cloud platforms, and end-user technologies.
• Deploy, configure, and support Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, virtualization, backup/recovery, and security solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated infrastructure, network, and systems issues.
• Create technical documentation, diagrams, and project deliverables while adhering to industry best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, vendors, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer in Richmond to join our services team responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting modern infrastructure solutions for a diverse client base. This role serves as the lead engineer on infrastructure projects, working across on-premises and cloud environments while providing advanced technical support and consulting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and migration projects involving servers, networking, cloud platforms, and end-user technologies.
