Job Description

The IT function is increasing its capabilities and therefore is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing the lifecycle of cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring they are secure, healthy, efficient, and scalable. You will also maintain and support our physical and virtual network infrastructure.

You will report to the Internal IT Infrastructure Manager, part of the IT team whose mission is to provide effective, efficient, reliable, and maintainable infrastructure to its users.

This job is location-independent; we are open to hiring in Spain, Portugal, Poland, and Indonesia.

What you will do:

1. Design and deploy Azure Wintel & AD solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
2. Manage IaaS and PaaS cloud resources in Microsoft Azure using Systems Management and Security Management Tools to ensure proper functioning and efficiency aligned with business needs.
3. Manage and maintain the Azure Active Directory / Entra ID infrastructure, including domains, forest, and replication.
4. Manage Group Policies, creating, managing, and enforcing GPOs for Windows-based systems.
5. Manage DNS, DHCP, and certificate services.
6. Develop and maintain standards based on leading practices for monitoring operational and performance statistics.
7. Develop and maintain standards and processes for patching and updates.
8. Collaborate with global teams to optimize MS components for performance and security.
9. Configure and install physical and virtual network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
10. Maintain WAN, LAN, and wireless networks, including upgrades, patches, and security configurations.

Qualifications

• ICT-related Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience with Azure services/technologies (e.g., virtual machines, blob, queues, tables, Azure Active Directory, Virtual networks), with deep technical expertise in infrastructure design, deployment, and management in private and Azure cloud, including virtualization with VM-Ware.
• 3-5+ years in Windows systems engineering, automation, and management.
• Experience automating Windows systems with PowerShell or similar.
• Supporting Windows systems in multi-platform environments (OSX, Linux, iOS, Android).
• Effective communication skills; fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Flexibility for work outside office hours and weekend on-call support.
• Microsoft Certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-700, AZ-800 are preferred.
