Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer with a security mindset to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. You will design, secure, deploy, scale, and maintain highly available network infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud with Azure.

Our team focuses on enhancing the availability, reliability, security, and performance of our products and services. You will collaborate with LAN admins and security teams to meet these objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build network configurations and connections.
2. Troubleshoot network problems.
3. Manage IP address allocation.
4. Maintain firmware on switches, APs, load balancers, and other devices.
5. Implement network segmentation.
6. Configure voice and call center systems.
7. Lead incident resolution efforts and conduct postmortems.
8. Design and implement monitoring and automation tools.

Skills and Minimum Experience

• At least 4 years of relevant experience with a degree; 7 years without a degree.
• Focus on system operations, uptime, and disruption management.
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering teams.
• Familiarity with SolarWinds, PRTG, Azure monitoring systems.
• Experience with web networking, TLS, SSL, reverse proxies, load balancing.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Passion for solving complex problems and continuous improvement.
• Some travel may be required.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Network design, implementation, troubleshooting.
• Network hardware configuration and installation.
• Network segmentation with security limits (ACLs, NACs, firewalls).
• Wireless security with 802.1x and certificates.
• Incident response and management experience.
• Experience with distributed systems, IoT networks, SLAs, SLOs, SLIs.
• Microsoft Azure cloud experience.
