Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a strong infrastructure background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automating processes and a willingness to learn and work with storage platforms in a multi-petabyte environment. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation for our storage infrastructure, which includes multiple vendor platforms and various geographic locations. The focus is on data centers, but cloud activities may also be involved.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive automation of implementation, maintenance, alerting, and metrics for storage environments.
• Design and implement automated workflows using tools such as Bash, Terraform, PowerShell, Python, etc.
• Leverage RESTful API integrations for automated orchestration of resources.
• Automate manual and repetitive operational tasks to reduce overhead and improve reliability.
• Analyze current workflows and infrastructure to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Follow ITIL processes and procedures to ensure proper control of environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in automation, scripting, or software development with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Python, or similar tools.
• General understanding of enterprise NAS; willingness to be trained to an advanced level.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in infrastructure automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and skills quickly.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to solve complex issues.
