Responsibilities
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Own and manage production support, access management, audit compliance, change control, and incident resolution in a 24x7 operational model.
- Lead infrastructure automation efforts using PowerShell and other modern scripting tools to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with application teams to scope and support platform integration during Discovery and Implementation phases.
- Maintain a reliable, scalable Windows server environment (Windows 2016–2022) including Active Directory, IIS, and enterprise-grade COTS apps.
- Oversee server patching, upgrades, disaster recovery processes, and system performance optimization.
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver SLA-aligned support, root cause analysis, and strategic improvements.
- Serve as a mentor and escalation point for junior team members on technical and operational challenges.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, InfoSec policies, and change management standards.
- 5+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience in a Windows environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep experience in Windows Server administration (2016–2022), IIS, and Active Directory.
- 3+ years of strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Familiarity with ticketing and ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for production systems — with tactical and long-term solution mindsets.
- Understanding of hardware platforms like Dell/Cisco servers and out-of-band management.
- DevOps mindset and exposure to Terraform, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience in a Windows environment.
