Job description

Hansen Talent Group is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise network and infrastructure deployment initiatives within a complex IT environment. The ideal candidate has extensive experience designing and implementing server and network solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating technical requirements into deployment-ready infrastructure. This role is well suited for an engineer with strong Cisco networking expertise, Infrastructure as Code experience, and a proven track record of driving projects from design through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Assess infrastructure requirements for new and existing applications.
• Review approved technical designs and determine required server and network changes.
• Create deployment specifications and implementation documentation.
• Support infrastructure implementations, deployments, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, operations, and application teams.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience building and supporting IT infrastructure, including servers and networks.
• Experience with infrastructure design and implementation.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience with GitHub and Infrastructure/Network as Code practices.
• Hands-on Cisco engineering experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Ansible or other automation tools.
• Experience with Cisco ACI and Software Defined Networking (SDN).
• Experience with Windows Server, RHEL, OpenShift, F5 BIG-IP, telephony systems, and SAN/NAS storage technologies.
• Experience onboarding applications and translating business requirements into infrastructure solutions.

Ideal Candidate

Experience taking infrastructure and networking solutions from requirements gathering through design and implementation, with a strong background in enterprise networking, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.
