Job summary

Fuse Energy, a US-based energy startup, seeks an Infrastructure Development Lead to own end-to-end data center and renewable project development across the US. You will drive market entry, interconnection, permitting, and financing considerations, coordinating with GIS and engineering teams.

You will build a strong network of landowners, utilities, and investors, leading commercial negotiations and ensuring timely project delivery across diverse energy assets.

Qualifications

• Experience developing data centers or large-scale infrastructure in the US from early-stage through Ready-to-Build.
• Deep knowledge of US markets: grid capacity, interconnection queues, permitting dynamics, power markets.
• Understanding of development financing: project finance, tax equity, investor requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own Renewable Energy and Data Center development in the US end-to-end from strategy to energization.
• Evaluate markets based on power, interconnection queues, land, fiber, climate, permitting, incentives.
• Identify opportunities across data centers, wind, BESS, rooftop, carport, ground-mounted solar, and more.
• Lead negotiations (NDAs, LOIs, exclusivity, acquisition terms) through closing.
• Build a local network of landowners, developers, utilities, and authorities; develop prospecting methods.
• Structure PPAs with commercial/industrial clients and respond to RFPs.
• Lead permitting, environmental review, feasibility studies, and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate with consultants, legal, grid operators, and authorities to secure approvals.
• Manage pre-construction risk, procurement tenders, and EPC contract support.
