Job summary

Allianz Global Investors in New York City seeks a Vice President, Infrastructure Debt to support senior team members and liaise with global debt teams in London and Paris. You will screen opportunities, prepare IC papers, negotiate debt terms, and conduct due diligence across financial, legal, and technical aspects.

You will help prepare investment proposals, monitor performance, and engage with lenders, investors, and advisers, contributing to deal flow and market insights in infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field with five years of experience in finance.
• Experience preparing investment and portfolio materials, including due diligence documents.
• Experience in private and credit infrastructure investment and debt strategies.
• Experience in Excel tools - Power Query, Power Pivot, and VBA macros.
• Experience in conducting financial analytics and interpreting financial statements.
• Experience in conducting independent research on sector trends and market updates.

Responsibilities

• Screen opportunities in infrastructure debt including discussions with the wider global debt team in London and Paris.
• Prepare screening papers for the Investment Committee and materials to present to investors.
• Assist in negotiating debt terms with borrowers, advisers, underwriters, and placement agents.
• Undertake detailed transaction due diligence across financial, legal, and technical reports.
• Prepare investment proposals and presentations to the Investment Committee.
• Assist in ongoing review of financial and operating performance and liaise with lenders’ counsel and the lender group.
