Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a senior project manager to lead multi-site data center construction initiatives in a flexible, hybrid setup. The role emphasizes differentiating design/constructability factors, stakeholder alignment, and rigorous budget/schedule management.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in project management, 5+ years in senior construction or design management, and holds relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred, or 4+ years related experience.
• 5+ years of senior level construction management or design management experience.
• 15+ years of project management experience.
• Minimum of two successful data center construction projects.
• Experience on projects under design and/or construction.
• Advanced certifications such as CCM, PMP, CEM, or CPMP.
• Flexibility to travel to work location.
• Commitment to sustainable and energy-efficient design practices.

Responsibilities

• You’ll identify differentiating factors concerning approach, design, and constructability during the construction lifecycle.
• You’ll be responsible for ensuring alignment between all project stakeholders.
• You’ll be accountable for managing overall project delivery.
• You’ll be responsible for project budget through effective scope management, schedule management, cost control, change control, cashflow forecasting, risk management, and implementation of recovery strategies.
• You’ll participate in continuous improvement plans as directed and/or through proactive application of personal expertise.
• You’ll maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Client’s project processes, procedures, and policies and is responsible for enforcing the use and conformance thereof.
• You’ll develop and maintain continuous positive relationships with the Client and their representatives.
• You’ll monitor the training of all project staff personnel in coordination with the client and with available programs.
• You’ll promote positive staff morale, professionalism, and attitude and assists to resolve potential deficiencies when identified or perceived.
• You’ll maintain a thorough understanding of the Company/Owner contract and all project correspondence and documentation.

• Experience commissioning hyperscale and / or colocation data centers
• Flexibility to travel to work location
