Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, LLC is seeking a seasoned project leader to drive data center construction initiatives. You will manage client relationships, lead meetings, and oversee budgets and schedules across complex builds.

The role emphasizes collaboration with hyperscale and enterprise clients, strategic bidding, and risk management in mission-critical environments. Flexible work locations are available with in-person collaboration as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project management within data center or critical environments.
• Experience managing full project lifecycle delivery.
• Experience working with complex MEP systems and critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact and facilitate stakeholder communications across data center projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise clients.
• Lead client meetings, reporting, and communication strategy across project lifecycles.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control for complex data center builds.
• Review and approve subcontractor contracts, change orders, and pay apps.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks to maintain strong commercial performance.
• Support estimating, procurement, and bid strategy for data center opportunities.
• Lead constructability reviews and value engineering for mission-critical environments.
• Ensure alignment between design, scope, and execution strategy for data center delivery.
• Oversee project schedules, identify delivery risks, and drive accountability.

THE WORK:

• Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management Business, Project Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project management, within a data center or critical environment
• Experience managing full project lifecycle delivery
• Experience working with complex MEP systems and critical infrastructure

• Ability to travel or relocate to project locations
• Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues and propose effective solutions
• Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and vendors
• Ability to effectively lead a diverse team of professionals inside of a dynamic team environment while also being capable of taking initiative when necessary
• Strong understanding of construction documents, schedules, and workflows
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong knowledge of industry standards
• Experience with or coordination of project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera or other relevant software

$140,000 - $160,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
