Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, LLC is seeking a Construction Manager with 3+ years of experience to coordinate with public agencies and contractors on near-water projects in California. You will manage budgets, schedules, and contract administration, ensuring quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have a BS/BA in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Construction Management, preferably in heavy civil/near-water projects.
  • Experience coordinating with public agencies, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in construction-related field.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll coordinate with public agencies and external stakeholders during construction to ensure compliance with off-site work requirements and project objectives.
  • You’ll manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • You’ll support contract administration activities, including bid analysis, pre-construction meetings, award coordination, and contractor communications.
  • You’ll review and evaluate contractor schedules, submittals, schedules of values, and RFIs for readiness and compliance.
  • You’ll lead coordination between project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure work aligns with plans and cost parameters.
  • You’ll review contractor submittals and obtain responses to RFIs, maintaining logs and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • You’ll negotiate change orders with contractors and assess cost/schedule impacts for fair outcomes.
  • You’ll review payment applications and oversee fiscal management to support project controls and financial stewardship.
  • You’ll coordinate with field inspectors to identify, document, and resolve site conditions and construction issues.
  • You’ll perform various construction management responsibilities and special assignments as needed.

THE WORK:

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • 3 -5+ years of experience in Construction Management required, specifically in near-water/over-water,
  • heavy civil construction projects
  • BS or BA in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management or related field orequivalent experience required
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • PE, CCM, EIT, LEED or licensure as an Architect preferred

$110,000 - $140,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
