Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is looking for a professional in Irvine, California to support strategic business development within the AEC industry. In this role, you'll develop infrastructure opportunities while working closely with public agencies and manage key client relationships.

Ideal candidates will have at least a Bachelor’s degree and extensive experience (minimum 7 years) in project and construction management, alongside proven business development capabilities. You will be part of a team innovating how future infrastructure is planned and executed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry.
• Minimum 7 years’ program Management or Construction Management experience.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience supporting business development and strategic pursuits.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic business development focused on Southern California infrastructure.
• Build relationships with key client decision‑makers for strategic accounts.
• Participate in industry organizations and attend conferences for networking.
• Develop and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline based on market intelligence.
• Align the pipeline with firm revenue goals and staffing capacity.
• Support go/no‑go decisions and procurement strategies.
• Manage partner relationships throughout the pursuit lifecycle.
• Develop comprehensive capture plans including client insights and win themes.
• Coordinate with Marketing on proposals and branding efforts.
• Track pursuit action items and coordinate networking events.
