Job summary

PACCAR is seeking a Systems Infrastructure Analyst in the McKinney, TX area to maintain and optimize the company’s network, servers, storage, and virtualization environments. You will provide Tier 3 support for business and manufacturing operations and help drive disaster recovery planning and testing.

The role requires 3–5 years’ enterprise infrastructure experience, strong VMware/Hyper-V and Windows Server skills, and scripting with PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments (3–5 years).
• Strong OSI networking and Layer 2 switching knowledge.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V/Azure Local).
• Experience administering Windows Server environments.
• Experience with Cisco networking equipment and Cisco CLI.
• Proficient in PowerShell and automation.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server including backups and SSIS/SSRS.
• Experience with enterprise backup solutions and disaster recovery.
• Experience with Dell server/storage hardware preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support network, server, storage, backup, and virtualization infrastructure.
• Perform physical installation, racking, cabling, and deployment of network, server, and storage equipment in data center environments.
• Configure and support Layer 2 switching and assist with Layer 3+ troubleshooting and escalation.
• Administer Windows Server, file servers, print servers, IIS, and related infrastructure services.
• Partner with development teams to support application hosting, deployment, and operational requirements.
• Manage Microsoft SQL Server environments, including security, backups, reporting services, integration services, and general administration.
• Support software deployment, operating system imaging, patch management, and endpoint management processes.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain enterprise backup and recovery solutions and perform disaster recovery testing, execution, and documentation updates.
• Maintain infrastructure asset inventories, technical documentation, and data center standards.
• Provide Tier 3 support for users, business applications, and manufacturing systems.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, system upgrades, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
