Job summary

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in an enterprise network environment.
• Experience integrating on-premises, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud infrastructures.
• Proven track record in enterprise network design, deployment, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of IEEE and NIST guidance.
• Routing protocols including BGP and OSPF.
• Experience configuring Cisco VPNs, switches, and wireless.
• Network operations, analysis tools, and policy management.
• Packet capture and analysis skills.
• Network security including authentication and encryption.
• Travel up to 25% and possibly international travel.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to department’s technical vision for WAN, LAN, wireless and cloud access.
• Develop and publish network standards and RFCs, and maintain topology drawings.
• Provide 3rd level operations support and document resolutions.
• Mentor teammates in troubleshooting network incidents and problems.
• Collaborate with global PACCAR network community and cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for potential adoption.
