Role:

As part of Blackstone's Technology and Innovations team, you will collaborate with talented professionals to develop innovative solutions for Blackstone and the financial industry. Our Server and Application Engineering team seeks a technical leader skilled in managing infrastructure in a modern, scalable environment. You should thrive in dynamic settings, think creatively, and develop solutions that scale from a few servers to thousands.

The team automates cloud infrastructure using PowerShell, Puppet, Terraform, and AWS, handling business requirements, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support. We need an experienced leader to mentor engineers and provide technical guidance.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years in infrastructure automation within enterprise environments
• Passion for technology, automation, and systems management
• Support and incident response experience
• Self-motivated, organized, problem-solving mindset
• Adaptability to changing requirements and technologies
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking, and application support
• Experience in systems management, automation, and cloud architecture
• Expertise in Git for infrastructure management
• Excellent technical communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field (preferred but not required)

Salary Range:

Expected annual base salary: $110,000 - $225,000, determined by experience, skills, location, and other factors. For roles outside the US, salary details follow local market standards. Additional compensation and benefits are offered.
