CannonDesign is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automation and API-based integrations across enterprise systems. You will develop PowerShell scripts using Microsoft Graph, Power Automate, Logic Apps, and Azure Automation.

You will monitor production automations, troubleshoot failures, and implement robust logging, error handling, and governance. A strong background in scripting, APIs, and cloud tech is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• 6+ years of IT experience with 2–3 years hands-on automation, scripting, integrations, or workflow solutions.
• Strong PowerShell and scripting expertise.
• Experience with API integrations and enterprise cloud systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, implement, and deploy automation solutions and API integrations between enterprise systems.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation using Graph, cloud tech, Power Automate, Logic Apps and Azure Automation.
• Automate repetitive IT admin processes via reusable scripts and components.
• Troubleshoot, refactor, and optimize automation code for reliability and performance.
• Implement logging, error handling, notifications, recovery, code reviews, and testing.
• Deliver automation from the backlog in partnership with Technology teams and validate requirements.
• Monitor, maintain, and support production automations and scheduled processes.
• Investigate failed automation jobs, including API/authentication/permissions issues.
• Review logs and performance to identify issues and improvements.
• Respond to incidents and perform preventative maintenance on automations.
• Update automations when connected apps/APIs change, managing certificates and secrets.
• Improve error handling and efficiency by optimizing slow automations.
