Job summary

CannonDesign is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and support automation solutions that improve Technology operations and reduce manual work across enterprise systems.

You will build API integrations, develop PowerShell scripts using Microsoft Graph, Power Automate, Logic Apps, and Azure Automation, and help implement logging, testing, and governance. You will partner with Technology teams to identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
• 6+ years of related Information Technology experience, including at least 2-3 years of hands‑on experience developing automation, scripting, integrations, or workflow solutions
• Strong PowerShell and scripting expertise
• Experience with API integrations and workflow automation Familiarity with cloud and enterprise systems

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and deploy automation solutions and API-based integrations between enterprise systems.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation solutions using Microsoft Graph, Microsoft cloud technologies, Power Automate, Logic Apps, Azure Automation, and similar platforms.
• Automate repetitive Technology administrative processes through reusable scripts, modules, functions, components, standards, and frameworks.
