Job summary

Associated Bank seeks a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, automate, monitor, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure in a secure financial environment. The role combines networking fundamentals with scripting to improve efficiency, reliability, and compliance across branch, data center, and cloud environments.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity, systems, cloud, and application teams and maintain runbooks in Confluence while using Jira for tasks and change

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in enterprise network engineering or infrastructure operations.
• Hands-on scripting and IaC experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible).
• Experience with Terraform and API integrations for automation.
• Experience using GitHub or similar version control for infra/automation code.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure across branch, campus, data center, and cloud.
• Build reusable scripts, playbooks, workflows, and automation pipelines for provisioning and config management.
• Integrate network systems via APIs and automation frameworks.
• Configure and optimize routing, switching, firewall, and wireless infrastructure.
• Monitor performance and capacity; implement monitoring and alerting for high availability.
