Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, automate, and support critical infrastructure for secure, reliable apps. You will partner with application and technology teams to improve deployment, performance, availability, and resilience while mentoring other engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Math/MIS/Engineering.
• 8+ years of VMware portfolio experience (VCF, SRM, vSAN, NSX, HCX).
• 5+ years of Terraform IaC, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, GitHub Actions, and container solutions.
• 5+ years of PowerShell, HashiCorp HCL, RESTful APIs, YAML/JSON, and PowerCLI.

Responsibilities

• Design and automate private cloud infrastructure and technology solutions for reliable apps.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and infrastructure issues, identifying root causes.
• Automate testing, configuration, release, and deployment with IaC and DevOps.
• Monitor capacity, availability, and performance; propose improvements.
• Maintain inventories, network diagrams, documentation, and system records.
• Partner with stakeholders to resolve issues and strengthen infrastructure.
• Support business resilience with disaster recovery docs and readiness testing.
• Coach engineers, share knowledge, and help shape technology direction.
