Job summary

Amazon LEO (Project Kuiper) seeks a Systems Development Engineer to support Leo shared services and design/manufacturing domains, including PCB/ASIC tooling. You will manage both physical and cloud infrastructure, OS administration (RHEL and Windows), and maintain system uptime for engineering teams.

Responsibilities include change control, automation scripting, incident response, and collaboration with design teams to translate requirements into scalable infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Proficient in modern programming languages (Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust).
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage RHEL supporting engineering tools.
• Manage Windows supporting engineering tools.
• Manage VMWare VSphere and guests.
• Maintain uptime for critical design and manufacturing applications.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Handle physical server deployments and maintenance.
• Create and enforce change management procedures.
• Work directly with engineering teams to understand requirements.
• Plan and execute system improvements.
• Document technical processes and configurations.
• Develop automation.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning.
• Design and implement technical solutions.
