Job summary

Eastman Chemical Company, a global materials innovator, is seeking an Infrastructure Analyst to join our IT team. The role focuses on designing, maintaining, and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure hardware and software to enable 24/7 operations across locations.

You will work with cross-functional teams, gather requirements, and lead small projects while applying security practices to protect the network and data assets. A BS in CS/ENG or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Understanding of computing, networking, and/or telephony environments.
• Ability to communicate with infrastructure support and with consumers of infrastructure services.
• Proven problem analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, maintains, and troubleshoots IT infrastructure hardware and software systems
• Manages day-to-day global infrastructure environment ensuring 24/7 operations
• Leads minimally complex projects including design, justification, and implementation of new capabilities
• Uses analysis tools to understand and improve performance and security of systems
• Collaborates with vendors to understand relationships, troubleshoot issues, ensure support levels, and evaluate offerings
