Job summary

Uplift Investors seeks a Local Infrastructure Analyst to join our Darien, CT office as the hands-on backbone of day-to-day IT operations.

You will own end-user support, manage office infrastructure, and coordinate with vendors, with a clear growth path toward IS management in a small, in-office setting.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or infrastructure/network administration.
• Solid working knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments.
• Hands-on experience with networking fundamentals (switches, routers, Wi‑Fi, VPN, firewalls).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint management, and basic Active Directory/Azure AD.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a service-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable working independently in a small office environment with occasional after-hours support needs.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals — setup, troubleshooting, imaging, and lifecycle management
• Maintain and support office network infrastructure: switches, wireless access points, firewalls, cabling, and related hardware
• Manage vendor relationships for ISP, telecom, and hardware/equipment procurement
• Administer user accounts, access permissions, and device security (MDM, endpoint protection, patching)
• Set up and support conference rooms, AV equipment, and office technology
• Maintain documentation for network topology, hardware inventory, and support procedures
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues
• Support onboarding/offboarding of employees from an IT equipment and access standpoint
• Partner with the IS Manager on infrastructure projects, upgrades, and planning
• Escalate and coordinate with outside vendors/MSPs as needed

Position Summary

We're looking for a Local Infrastructure Analyst to join our Darien, CT office and serve as the hands-on technical backbone of our day-to-day IT operations. This role owns end-user support (laptops, peripherals, software) and office infrastructure (networking, hardware, telecom, AV) for our headquarters. It's an in-office, high-visibility role ideal for someone a couple of years into their IT career who wants to build deep infrastructure and support experience with a clear growth path toward taking on IS management responsibilities.
