Job summary

Quad offers a fully remote IT Infrastructure role focused on managing Windows and Unix systems, testing new solutions, and automating existing IT processes. You will work in a Polish-American team with daily collaboration with colleagues in the USA and opportunities for growth.

Ideal candidates will have strong networking knowledge, virtualization basics (VMware/Hyper-V), and familiarity with public clouds (Azure/AWS/GCP), plus excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Experience with managing IT infrastructure (Windows/Unix) and networks.
• Experience with server virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Ability to work remotely in a team and communicate effectively.
• Strong spoken and written English.

Job description

The person employed in this position will be responsible for:

• Management and supervision of the company's IT infrastructure and operating systems (Windows and Unix)
• Testing and implementation of new solutions
• Automation of existing IT systems
• Close collaboration with HelpDesk department and other IT areas for effective problem resolution.

Requirements:

• Network technologies (WAN, LAN, Wireless LAN, Unified Communication, VoIP)
• Windows Server or Linux distributions
• Basics of server virtualization (VMWare, HyperV)
• Basics of public cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS. GCP)
• Ability to work remotely in a team
• good interpersonal communication
• Very good proficiency in spoken and written English
• Readiness for independent work and learning in the mentioned areas.

An additional advantage would be knowledge of:

• Configuration management systems (e.g. Ansible, Bicep)
• IT infrastructure monitoring systems (e.g., Zabbix)
• Scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell).
