Job summary

Davidson Technologies seeks a Jr. Infrared Hard Body Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs to capture requirements and develop infrared hard body missile threat models for advanced simulation tools.

You will collaborate with threat analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to achieve high-fidelity representations and support mission delivery with minimal supervision. The role requires a STEM degree with 2 years’ experience (or an MS with 0–2 years), knowledge of IR signature phenomena, and scripting

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required at time of application.
• Experience with modeling and simulation of data sets.
• Familiarity with infrared signature concepts and hard body heating.

Responsibilities

• Capture and document requirements for infrared signature representations of missiles.
• Develop infrared hard body missile threat models for modeling and simulation tools/frameworks.
• Collaborate with threat stakeholders, intelligence analysts, and engineers to achieve high fidelity representations.
• Support MDA Ground Test Modeling and Simulation events and ensure timely data production.
• Work with software engineers to provide tools for ITP production and verification.
