Job summary

Ozcorp Scientific seeks an InfraOps Engineer focused on infrastructure and operations. You will own the plumbing—from DNS to container deployments—across Azure, GCP, and on-prem or hybrid environments. The Hybrid role is based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with remote options to fit delivery needs.

You will standardize deployments, automate configs, and improve reliability for portfolio ventures and client engagements. Strong cloud, IaC, and CI/CD experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with DNS management and troubleshooting across providers (Route 53, Cloud DNS, Azure DNS).
• Experience with container runtimes and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, GKE, EKS).
• Proficiency with config and secrets management (Vault, Consul, cloud-native secret managers).
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, GCP, AWS).
• Familiarity with infra-as-code (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
• Clear communication and ability to work with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• DNS management: Authoritative DNS, internal resolution, domain lifecycle across portfolio domains.
• Configuration management: Centralized configs, secrets, env management; multi-tenant consistency.
• Container deployments: Build, ship, run container workloads; orchestrate with Kubernetes ecosystems.
• Digital plumbing: Proxies, load balancing, TLS termination, WAF rules, network segmentation.
• CI/CD pipelines: Reliable, repeatable deploys; infra-as-code and drift detection.
• Observability and reliability: Logging, metrics, alerting; incident response and postmortems.
• Documentation and runbooks: Clear runbooks and diagrams for operations.
