Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an Infra Program Manager to structure, coordinate, govern, and oversee the Workforce Technology & Services Super Department's role in various initiatives. The role includes strategic planning, status reporting, issue/risk tracking, leading meetings, and escalating as needed.

Responsibilities include governance across projects, demand planning, and effective multi-project oversight, with strong emphasis on PMO standards and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience creating program/project structure.
• Experience managing IT security projects.
• Ability to indirectly manage virtual team members from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task across multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and reporting.
• Understanding of PMO governance standards.
• Ability to translate high-level governance into actionable steps.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Independent and self-motivated, but a team player.
• Assertive and proactive.
• Effective cross-functional stakeholder management with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist Program and Project Managers with governance across multiple projects.
• Oversee demand planning and governance, prioritizing work and resources.
• Manage regular reporting including highlights of accomplishments, risks/issues, dependencies.
• Coordinate with other department leads to align activities within the larger program.
• Manage JIRA Kanban boards and monthly team retrospectives.
• Create program status reports.
